Teen Breaks Into Ex’s Home, Beats and Rapes Her

A West Palm Beach teen is facing multiple charges including sexual battery and burglary after he allegedly broke into his ex-girlfriend’s house and physically and sexually assaulted her.

The unnamed teen was at home doing schoolwork when she heard a knock at the back door. She went to see who was there and found her ex-boyfriend who was armed with a gun. The boy apparently wanted to know why the girl wasn’t answering his messages.

According to the Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office, the boy used pruning sheers to break into the girl’s house. The PBSO says that the teen then proceeded to rape the girl and beat her with the pistol. He then threatened to kill her family.

Nineteen-year-old Oslin Soriano-Portillo will face charges of sexual battery, aggravated battery, burglary, and criminal mischief. He was also charged with violating the state’s stay-at-home order.

Teen Blocks Ex-BF on Social Media

The victim told police that she had blocked her ex-boyfriend on social media after he became threatening and physically aggressive with her. She also told police that she was afraid of what would happen if she didn’t comply with his request to be let in the house. She also told the police that he had hurt her before.

The boy also allegedly demanded to see the girl’s cellphone, but this request she refused. The boy then became angry and pulled out his gun. He threatened to kill her, then hit her over the head to the butt of the gun, and broke her cell phone. He then threatened to kill her and her father if she told the police.

He ended up leaving, but moments later, he returned to apologize to her. When he heard her father coming home, he left.

The suspect told police that he was waiting outside the ex-girlfriend’s apartment to “make sure no other man” came by.

Much of the Case Will Depend on Victim’s Testimony

The police will use the victim’s testimony to build a case against the suspect, but they also have a vested interest in protecting the victim as much as possible. This means that anything forensics can pull from the scene of the crime and the medical records of the victim will play a large role in the case. Unfortunately, the victim will need to take the stand in this case against the ex-boyfriend. He is facing considerable time behind bars if he is convicted on aggravated assault, burglar, and sexual battery charges. He may also be required to register as a sex offender.

Worse still, his ex-girlfriend may never be safe. This is a troubling case because of the obsessive nature of the suspect and his willingness to use violence to control his ex-girlfriend.
