After Rape Conviction Overturned, Former Uber Driver Granted Bond

A former Uber driver whose conviction was overturned this year for allegedly raping a woman he picked up at SunFest in 2017 was granted bond Tuesday morning.

Scott Skier, who took over the case this year from the Public Defender’s Office, said while he is glad the judge granted his client bond after he effectively was being held without it, he still thinks the amount is too high, given what the appeals court ruled.  Read More >>
