What happens if I refuse a breath test in Florida?
If you are suspected of driving under the influence in the state of Florida, it is always my recommendation to refuse the breath test. This will have consequences. Your license will most likely be suspended for a year. However, the benefit incurred in not providing a breath sample is that you do not provide the state of Florida with evidence sufficient to convict you, so it is always my recommendation not to blow.Back To DUI Law Videos FAQS
