The police want to get my side of the story. Should I give a statement?
Never. The police don’t want to get your side of the story. The police want you to make statements that assist them in their investigation against you. Law enforcement has the ability to ask questions. You have the right not to answer them. If you believe there is an ongoing investigation and that you are the target of the investigation, do not speak with the police under any circumstance.Back To Criminal Defense Law Videos FAQS
